APPJAG Youth Jazz at Portcullis House 2015

In association with PPL, the All Party Parliamentary Jazz Appreciation Group (APPJAG) will host its annual Youth Jazz event in Portcullis House, House of Commons. The event is to celebrate youth in Jazz and we are delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate and showcase the vibrant youth jazz orchestra scene in the UK today.

Each year via PPL’s generosity, a youth jazz ensemble has the opportunity to work with a major guest artist culminating in this live performance. This year we welcome members of National Youth Jazz Collective plus internationally renowned bassist Dave Holland as guest artist.

National Youth Jazz Collective is a new and vibrant National Youth Music Organisation designed to support the creative and educational needs of the young jazz musician through regional outreach projects. For further information, visit their website.
