National Student Radio Conference 2015
PPL will be exhibiting a stand at this year’s National Student Radio Conference organised by The Student Radio Association (SRA), which takes place between 20 to 22 April at the University of Exeter.
The PPL Broadcasting team will be on hand to meet with student broadcasters in order to raise awareness of the legal licensing requirements from the use of recorded music in this sector.
The conference is hosted by a different member station and university each year. This year’s host student radio station is Xpression FM.
The Student Radio Association is the volunteer-run representative body which supports and acts on behalf of the UK student radio community. It represents any radio station that is based at or linked to a place of education (such as a school, college or university), or that has students participating (including youth projects and stations that are run by local councils, communities or charities). SRA exists to encourage and facilitate communication between student stations, to assist in their development, and to offer support and advice to new stations.
