PPL host SAY Awards networking event with SMIA

As Scotland plays host to the annual Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award, PPL will be hosting a networking session in association with the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA) for all those involved in making music in Scotland.

Taking place at the Scottish Music Centre in Glasgow on Monday 19 May, 5-7pm, the session will allow Scottish performers and musicians to come together and network and to also learn more about how they can maximise their earning potential in a particularly competitive industry.

Representatives from PPL’s Member Services team will also be available to give an overview of:

•  practical advice on using our self-service system myPPL

•  how to register repertoire online and make claims

•  earning international and digital royalties

Following a short presentation from the PPL Member Services team, there will be a Q&A session and the opportunity to seek one-on-one advice. Please note, places are limited and bookings will be taken on a first-come first-served basis.

Please RSVP to caroline@smia.org.uk
