PPL to support IAMA International Conference
PPL is delighted be represented at the 24th IAMA International Conference which is titled 'Time for Change: Rebalancing the Music Business Model' and held at Milton Court in London between 10 and 12 April.
PPL will be sponsoring all the coffee breaks on Friday 11 April, and Classical Repertoire Specialist Ben Hogwood will also be in attendance so attendees can discover more about PPL’s International service.
The event, organised by International Artist Managers' Association (IAMA), is held in a different country each year and, this spring, it comes to London. Bringing together the international classical music community, there will be a focus on the resilience shown against austere conditions over the last five years and an emphasis on reassessing models of working practice.
Spread over 2 days, the conference offers IAMA members (artist managers) and affiliates (including members of orchestras and those from the festival, PR, travel and publishing sectors) the chance to sit in on sessions, keynote speeches, panel debates and interviews with luminaries from the classical music establishment as well as providing networking opportunities to meet peers from around the globe.
IAMA is the worldwide association for classical music artist managers which supports it members
through promoting opportunities for them to meet and striving to raise the professional standards in the music industry.
