As of Friday 5 June, PPL became aware that an unidentified third party was sending spam emails purporting to be from PPL, and attached an invoice which appeared to come from us.
If you have received one of these emails, which attaches a Word document, please do not open it – instead, please delete it immediately as it carries a virus.
Please be assured someone has spoofed our email address and our security has not been compromised.
PPL always sends out invoices in PDF format, not Word documents. If you are still unsure whether an email you have received from us is a legitimate invoice please contact the customer service team by calling 020 7534 1450 or emailing us.
