PPL has been supporting PRS Foundation's Momentum Music Fund and International Showcase Fund since 2016. Together, the Funds have supported the development of hundreds of artists including Years & Years, Little Simz, Public Service Broadcasting, Anna Calvi, Floating Points, Kate Tempest, Bugzy Malone, Lonelady, Ghostpoet, Anna Meredith, Oh Wonder, Yungen and Spring King.

The Momentum Music Fund provides career-boosting grants of between £5,000 and £15,000 to help talented UK-based artists and bands at crucial points in their professional development. The Momentum Music Fund has been running since 2013, with a five-year report published in 2018. The report revealed over £13m has been generated for the UK Music Industry through Momentum, with 88% of grantees having delivered their primary outcome.

The International Showcase Fund supports artists with grants of up to £5,000 as a contribution to travel costs, visas and per diems, enabling them to perform at key showcasing festivals and conferences and take their first steps into new international territories. Such events include EurosonicReeperbahnWomexCanadian Music Week and SXSW, the globally-renowned music conference in Austin, Texas.
