Distribution closure payment for 2009
PPL will close its 2009 distribution period and no longer pay royalties for when recordings were played during this year. This move is in line with the applicable six-year statutory limitation period for performers to claim royalties from PPL. Please note that the date of 2009 refers to the time a recording was played in only and not the date of production or release. Once claims have been processed any revenue from 2009 that PPL is not able to distribute will be allocated to PPL's recording rights holder and performer members. This revenue will be allocated on a pro-rata basis in proportion with each member's PPL allocations during 2009.
PPL will confirm further 2017 payment dates for members later in January.

Please note that we only pay UK members once the balance of their account is above £5.00 and only via BACS (or only if the account is above £50.00 via SWIFT/IBAN for members not based in the UK). If we do not have your correct bank and contact details, we will be forced to hold any payment.
