PPL has today announced its latest set of international figures.

In difficult trading conditions within the UK as well as international markets, the company has performed exceptionally well revealing its key achievements to be as follows:

  • PPL collected £32 million of international revenues in 2010 - the highest figure the company has achieved in a single year
  • This represents nearly 50% growth from 2009 collections of £21.6m
  • Over £90 million has now been collected since the company started international collections in 2002
  • Over 20% of company turnover now attributed to international income


In addition, in 2010 PPL signed seven new contracts which included four new countries (Bulgaria, Jamaica, Latvia and New Zealand). PPL therefore now has representation in 28 different countries around the world, which has resulted in 52 separate contracts with similar music licensing organisations.
