If you've performed on recorded music that has been broadcast or played in public, you could be entitled to royalties. If you control the rights for when recorded music is broadcast and played in public, PPL could be making money for you. It’s free to join PPL and you can do so online.

UK royalties are paid out annually in June, plus other regular payments including quarterly international royalty payments.
We do not retain a profit for our services, helping to maximise the royalties paid to members.
We collect royalties for the use of recordings through agreements with other collective management organisations around the globe.
We have Qualified Intermediary status from the US tax authorities. Royalties collected by PPL are not subject to US withholding tax of 30%.
Royalties are calculated at track level and at individual performer level based upon music usage.
