Pop-soul singer Lusaint has signed with PPL for the collection of her international neighbouring rights royalties.
News of the signing comes after the Manchester-based artist released her debut EP Self Sabotage last month. The collection has already generated over 10 million streams globally.
The six-track release includes the single Sweet Tooth, recently championed by Elton John on his Rocket Hour show on Apple Music.
2024 has been quite the year for Lusaint. Her music has garnered support from the likes of Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri, Mollie King, Maia Beth and Victoria Jane on BBC Radio 1, and in her hometown by BBC Introducing Manchester.
Earlier this year, Lusaint was awarded support through the PPL Momentum Music Fund, our scheme that offers career-boosting grants to artists and bands at a pivotal point in their development. The latest round of the PPL Momentum Music Fund opens today and artists can apply here.
Overseas, Lusaint has been gaining support too, hitting airwaves in France across a multitude of stations, and Italy, where she hit Top 40 in the national airplay chart with her track Fool For You
2024 has also seen Lusaint conquer the live space for the first time, supporting a number of her peers including RAYE, Tom Grennan, NIA Archives and Jess Glynne at festivals such as Boardmasters, The Great Escape, Metronome Festival and the upcoming Neighbourhood Festival in Manchester.

Lusaint follows hot on the heels of BRITs Rising Star winners, The Last Dinner Party, with both acts joining a strong line-up of emerging talent that has chosen us for their international collections this year. Other recent signings include all-female trio FLO, rapper Ice Spice, and singer-songwriter Kenya Grace.
