PPL Repertoire Search Terms and Conditions
Main search screen
The main search screen allows you to search by artist name and/or sound recording title (or alternatively by ISRC). There is a maximum number of search results that can be returned, so some “artist name” only searches may be unsuccessful – if this happens, use the sound recording title as well, if possible, or contact PPL for further assistance.
Search results screen
The search results screen displays the following headings: rights holder, artist name, recording title, ISRC, recording date and duration.
Conditions of use
This Repertoire Search facility is for general research purposes only. For specific confirmation in respect of particular sound recordings or record company catalogues, please contact PPL directly.
Information provided within this service should not be interpreted as a representation of all repertoire controlled by PPL or all of the uses for which that repertoire is licensed. As the information displayed in this service is based on information PPL receives from its members, it will be subject to change. Where PPL receives conflicting claims from its members in respect of a recording, this will be displayed as multiple rights holders in the search results. In these situations, please contact us if this is pertinent to the purpose of your search.
Users of the service acquire no rights in any of the information provided or the copyright works to which the information relates. Neither the provision of the service by PPL, nor the use of the service by any user, constitutes any form of offer or grant of a licence. Users of the Repertoire Search may use the information available from it for their internal business purposes only and shall not use it for any other purpose.
PPL endeavours to keep the information provided via the Repertoire Search up-to-date and correct, though makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information (and any such representation or warranties are excluded to the full extent permitted by law). Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
In no event will PPL be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage) arising out of, or in connection with, the use of the Repertoire Search by any user.
PPL aims to keep these services running smoothly. However, PPL takes no responsibility, and will not be liable, for the Repertoire Search being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control. PPL reserves the right to suspend or withdraw either service at any time, without notice.
